SRL Prediction to 6 GHz is now available with Zumbach’s enhanced FFT/SRL software package. Drawing from vast experience with thousands of capacitance measuring tubes, Zumbach has developed a micro-focus and highly sensitive measuring tube with an active length of only 10 mm (.39"). This new capacitance tube features an extremely low noise level meeting the highest demands of absolute accuracy. Now a single, precision tube replaces the cumbersome need for multiple measurement segments. The high resolution of this tube along with 600 Hz bandwidth allows for SRL prediction to 6 GHz.

The new software delivers simultaneous SRL prediction on any two measurements. The software provides for an easy to read and configure, Windows ™ style user screen with context sensitive Help screens. The system can be used as a stand-alone diagnostic tool or can be integrated into CELLMASTER^® and JACKETMASTER systems.

The AUTAC 250S is a precision, in-line, non-contact conductor temperature monitor. Positioned just before the cross-head, the AUTAC 250S provides conductor temperature measurements to an accuracy of

± 1° C (1° F) up to a maximum temperature of 250° C (482° F) for conductor diameters of .012" to .160" (.25 to 4 mm). The AUTAC 250S is supplied with a fine adjustable holder for precision alignment. The AUTAC 250S may be mounted to the exit side of an existing preheater. The unique, slotted design facilitates wire string-up and reduces the need for cleaning of the measurement path.

The AUTAC 250S may be used as a stand-alone sensor with local temperature display or can be easily integrated with any of Zumbach’s TEMPMASTER preheaters for full feedback control of conductor temperature.

The WST TEMPMASTER 206FV represents a new dimension in wire preheaters. In addition to extremely easy access and threading, the new, slim design features numerous operating advantages. The TEMPMASTER 206FV is a sophisticated microprocessor-based production tool that accommodates a wide range of AWG sizes from 14 to 32 (1.63 to .2 mm) and line speeds from 120 to 5,600 ft./min. (37 to 1707 m/min). Auto ranging combined with variable frequency induction assures optimum preheating. The ergonomically designed display and control panel includes a simple display of calculated preheat temperature, actual line speed and ambient air temperature. The TEMPMASTER 206 provides for an extensive library of appliance, hi-temp, data, category, coax cable and specialty wire. A variety of conductor materials in solid, stranded or bunched form can be handled.

The TEMPMASTER 206FV is ready to be interfaced with the AUTAC 250S for full feedback control of conductor temperature.
